For the month of June we are having a come and try month. During this month no membership will be required. As well as running our normal classes, we have put on a number of new activities for June. These are:
- Beginning Card Making
- A walking group
- Cards and Board games
- How to create your own photo book
- A cycling group (easy cycling, mainly on bike paths, no lycra necessary)
- A philosophy class
Our regular craft class encourage you to join them with any of your own craft but especially on June 7th – knitting, June 14th – quilting, June 21st – wet felting for beginners, and June 28th – crocheting.
Some classes are limited so this is very important.
We are also starting a series of talks from guest speakers. These will normally be on the second Monday of the month however during June we have 2 speakers booked.
- On June 11th there will be a discussion on ‘Renewables, Energy Costs and Options for the Future’.
- On June 25th we will have a presentation of ‘Life over the Centuries at “Hemingford Grey”’, including the history, textiles, literature and architecture of this 14th century home in Cambridgeshire, UK.
