The courses are based on Be Connected – an Australian Government sponsored program, and are suitable for beginners and those who wish to extend their knowledge. The course is on-line and takes the student through from a very basic level of knowledge to a good understanding of the technology. Our tutor will lead you through to a competent skill level using your device, be it Mobile Phone, Tablet, Laptop or Desktop computer.

Laptops (Windows 10) are available for participants who do not own a computer, or don’t want to bring in their Desktop unit.

The classes are held in our U3A hall in Falls Road Mount Dandenong, currently on Monday mornings.

Future programs are planned to improve skills in file management, email management, using Facebook, managing photographs, Buying and selling, word processing and a host of other applications useful to the user.

You do not have to be a member of U3A to participate in the Be Connected program. For future programs, we would expect you to join. Current joining fee is $35 a year
