The U3A is a world-wide non-profit learning organisation founded in France in 1972 and its philosophy is founded in that the “third age” is the time of active retirement when many people take up interests and activities that they have not previously had the time for.Members offer to share their skills and talents with fellow members in the form of classes and recreational activities.

Although the U3A (university of the third age) was created primarily for adults over 50, U3A Mount Dandenong welcomes adults of all ages that have a desire to engage in learning and/or being  involved in activities with our community. The Mount Dandenong branch of the U3A has been in operation since 2008 and is situated in the historic Farndons Hall in Falls Road, Mount Dandenong. Many creative, recreational and social activities are offered to those that would like to participate. If you are interested, check out our Classes and Activities to see what is on this term.

New members are always welcome. Just complete the Membership form online and submit, or print it out and complete manually.

We produce a regular newsletter to keep members up to date with the latest activities and news.
